Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA)
The development of additional projects in an already developed or proposed developmental area introduces new environmental impacts which can be magnified or cumulatively exceed the carrying capacity of the specific environment. SEA is the tool used to assess the cumulative and marginal effect of projects or programs in a specific area.
Scientific Ideas Limited has conducted several SEA with a wide array of highly-skilled impact and risk assessors. SIL successfully carried out a study to determine the cumulative environmental impact of oil and gas facilities in Bayelsa State, Nigeria in 2016.
